Chicago saxophonist Edwin Daugherty began his professional career fresh out of high school. While still in his teens he became an a-list musician, performing and/or recording with Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Barry White, Isaac Hayes, Nancy Wilson, Natalie Cole, Roberta Flack, BB King and others. He is a long time member of Chicago's Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians [AACM] with it's long tradition of self determination and cutting edge experimental jazz. A talented musician, composer and lyricist, Edwin's style is forged by his diversity of experience, a combination of jazz, funk and electronic elements which are featured in every performance!
